Full course description
The course is designed for the general practicing Doctor of Chiropractic. Computer and Internet service required for completion of this course. The learner’s participation (time) is actively tracked and logged. No textbooks required. Activities may include reading assignments, viewing of multimedia presentations, discussion via internet post or forum, and an online learning assessment via written examination.
Objectives:
Introduction to the CA Board of Examiners Record Keeping
Review the importance of legibility in medical documentation
Review the components of the initial patient visit, established patient visit and management plan
Learn steps for effective ancillary documentation
Become oriented with state laws regarding medical record maintenane and destruction
Become familiar with current concepts in electronic medical records
